FS: race ready Aeromarine XXX - blue printed!! T-mono

Taken off market... Can't bear to sell and my wife even says to keep it.

This is a hull I have drooled over for years... I just don't have the battery cash to race her!

$850 shipped, add $175 for additional props - international pays extra shipping.
requires 180+ amp HV esc, batteries and radio

Hull (45" x 12.5"): I bought this new from Aeromarine this summer and raced in the Dallas club races - but she hooked hard in the turns. I then spent a day sanding, bondoing, sanding, bondoing and WOW what a difference! As Jay Turner says, " that's a different boat!" She did have a wipe out on her first run after the blue printing and lifted a small portion of the bow decking, which was repaired and is holding strong.

All speed master hardware, wet well stuffing tube and JW racing motor mount - all assembled by me with new parts. Drive line is .25" and drive dog is mounted on the .25" part before the stepdown to 3/16" prop shaft. Super servo with CF reinforced rudder rod - won't bend any more!!

Castle 2028 I bought new from OSE in July. I had run one of the new Castle HV ESCs, but after a couple runs I had to send back for the recall. Since I was running a Castle 180 HV, which I evidently didn't take care to dry enough when dunked in another boat....

She runs in the low 60s on 10S2P spinning an Octura x460 and the present Prather 255. I have other props that can be combined into this sale, X457, X462, X455/3 balanced and sharpened by DasBoata, and one X460 raw prop.

    hull and props

the fruit of my blue printing efforts. bondo was primed and then coated with automotive clear. More work could be done, but it would not gain you much more. Hull is extremely responsive and quite easy to drive for a monster! even at 60+ mph - oh and what a roost!!!

Yes indeed. That is a very capable race boat. Should make some driver very happy at that low price.
