F/s new castle hydra hv-240 and steve neu 1527 brushless combo

    IMG_2026.jpg

For sale or trade is a new castle hydra hv 240 and steve neu 1527 1D brushless motor with water cooled heat sink. both never used except for bench test. otherwise NEW. bought this combo for a project a year ago that never happened. motor is 6-8 hp depending on battery size. this is the same model motor Nic Case used to set the rc speed record with. I bought the esc new for $540 and the motor was $320 (860.00). selling both as a set for 550.00. essentially you are getting the motor for free. I just need to unload this. its not doing any good sitting here. PLEASE EITHER EMAIL ME AT [email protected] OR PM ME ON RCTECH.COM (SAME USER NAME) AS I DO NOT USE THIS SITE OFTEN. THANKS. MOTOR IS SOLD. SPEED CONTROL STILL FOR SALE. 399.00

Brand-new speed control folks! these are on backorder right now as they are hard to find. I'm going to let it go for 350 if it doesn't sell in a few days I'm pulling it and building a new boat for the summer I guess

Tough to sell them. They are a great esc if you treat them well, but with all the cheaper HV escs from Swordfish, Turnigy, etc. seems people just don't spend big bucks on escs anymore (schulze and MGM excluded). I just bought one of these 240HVs, brand new, on the board for $205 shipped a couple weeks back and it sat for over a month before I grabbed it.

I really like them ... put some anti-spark wires on them and a cap bay over 8s and the things will be good to you.

I was going to say the same thing. I sold mine for $250 shipped and it was brand new as well. They are a tough sell these days
