Hello, Just confirming that the motor shafts are 6mm not 5mm? According to Castle the 1717 shafts are 5mm.Comment

They are 6mm. These came from the last batch that were sold. If one was to be used in a land vehicle, there is a guy on rctech forum that cuts the shafts down to 5mm. For boat use, 6mm shaft is no biggie as you can easily buy 6mm collets.Comment
