    43" MHZ Nomad Twin Cat

This is a 43” MHZ Nomad. I bought this used several years ago and had to correct a few of errors by the original owner (replaced motor mounts and filled transom holes from an ill fitting rudder, etc, etc). It now runs fantastic, but doesn’t fit any of the classes my club runs, so it’s gotta go. There is a small gel coat chip on the tip of the port sponson.

    43” MHZ Nomad Hull
    Twin T600 1400kv outrunners
    Speedmaster Dual PickUp Rudder
SV27 Stuts bored for Speedmaster bushings
    Counter rotate Hughey 3/16th shafts
6mm Thrust bearings and Octura 6mm to .187 Couplers
Octura counter rotate aluminum 447 2 blade props (not the ones in the pic)
Bluebird 200 Oz/In Metal Gear Servo

    Video here:

Price $375 shipped to the Lower 48

    Hi,
How wide is it and what esc's did you use for it ?
What speeds were you getting with it ? And on what cells ?
And how were the temps on the setup ?

    Thanks for any info.

Ray, you and I need to talk. I know where there's a big ugly Proboat hydro hull that could be traded in and save you shipping as well.
That would make a much better PTD boat (since we don't have any size limitations) than my DF Explorer cat.

            Lenny,

            Your info follows.
The boat is 12 inches wide with a tunnel width of 5.5 inches. The speeds in the video are in the mid 50's on 5S1P per side. I was using Seaking 120's speedo's, but would reccommend 150amp speedo's. Temps are less than 110 degrees on all compnents.

I understand the thought Ray. Which hull are you planning to build for Q?

Edit: never mind I just spotted the "sprintcat".

Been watchin the Q Sprintcats have more "FUN" than any other class we run for more than 2 years. Now I just got to get me one.

I'm finding it hard to believe that nobody has swooped down on this already. (not complaining for myself as I'd still like to have it. And if it lays around long enough, I will.)
A MHZ hull with that much hardware is pretty much giving it away on that shipped price.

Bill, I'm with you on this... my problem is separating this much money from the Christmas funds. I'm trying to cover my bases selling other toys, then I can contact Ray with cash in the account. Dilemma for both of us! If you jump first, I'm out, but safe! This one is tough...

Sounds like we're both hoping someone will come along and save us from ourselves before it's too late.
