FighterCat 37" Daytona/Genesis Bare Hull

This was a project I started some time ago, then lost interest. The hull is in mint condition as its never been used. I have fully re-inforced it with 2 layers of fiberglass matting using polyester resin and also added foam flotation in the bow and sealed the flotation with epoxy for a water proof seal. The hull is set up to be a twin drive. Holes for FighterCat Racing 3/16 stingers and rudder have been drilled. One hole for the stuffing tube is elongated, but not by much. This will be sealed when the buyer installs the stuffing tubes.

Here is a link to the strudder that will bolt on. To use the rudder in a twin drive application, just omit the strut from the mount.

how would one fasten the motor mounts to the hull? and are the benefits of a twin genesis way better then a single genesis?

Tack them in with CA, then epoxy or glass them in. Its easy to do. With a twin, you can get slightly higher speeds with less stress on the electronics. Cool sound of 2 props cutting the water. As far as the Genesis goes, I havent ran one before, but ive read they dont turn too well due to them being narrow. I was going to build this one for speed. I didnt care about turning, as long as I can change directions to make another high speed run. Maybe someone with a Genesis will chime in and give their experiences with turning.

With my boat, it does like to flip if you push it too far. But there is a sweet spot, ride on that and I find that it's awfully consistent running laps. Mine is a single drive and I do not race, only sport at this point. I have a Daytona (same thing) that I had Scott (Tiqueman) build....I am absolutely in love with it. Awesome hull!
