Lenny, you sent a PM with an offer. If the offer was his asking price, then yes it should have been yours.
However, if your offer was below his asking price or included a trade of some kind, the seller obviously didn't accept your PM'd offer and sold it to the first person to aqccept his asking price. Sorry

For example:
I'm asking $100 for widget A.
You offer me $99 for it via PM
Domwilson offers me the $100 I'm asking for 3 hours later.
Well... Dom will get it

This is exactly the reason we try to avoid the PM offers.
