Traxxas Esc and motor system

I have removed this from my E-MAXX as well and have no use for it here. The ESC is capable of up to 16.8v and will run 2 brushed motors. It is a water proof esc as well. Used maybe 4 times plus one pack to break the motors in.

Feagio 8xl and a mamba max esc. I have yet to put the gps in it but my guess would be 45 or so mph. It flies!!!!!!

Might be a dumb question, but will this set up work with lipos? Are the motors the same size as a standard 540 brushed motor?
