Yes its true, the first boat I ever built from new hull up is for sale, or maybe a straight trade for some parts I will be needing soon. The only hydros I will be keeping are my LSH for club racing, my unfinished 1/8 Bud, and I have plans for a Q-sport hydro. My main focus has turned to monos and cats, and these hydros will just end up collecting dust. They have both served me well, and have plenty of life left in them. They are both basically RTR minus the receiver, receiver battery, and prop. My girlfriend also wants to put a new house rule into effect... If one boat is coming in, one has to go, and since I just built my new LSO, and I have a mono on the way time to make room.
Hydro #1. Batman hydro is the Darkhorse shovel, and has been ran with anything from 12 to 16 cells both brushed and brushless. This hull was the first to take me 60mph, and was done with a Hacker 7xl on 12 cells with a tweaked x642. The current setup how you will receive it is N-2 with a brand new brushless 3400kv Chili Pepper with only one run on it, Hacker Navy 70 esc, two Protek 7.4 4000mah 20c lipos with parallel plug for very long and decently fast runs, Fullers Crumb grabber hardware, Wolt wire drive, servo, carbon fiber turn fin, and I will include an extra old style Batman vinyl graphic if you decide to repaint, or have to possibly repair it in the future. This current setup has only been ran once, and I would say it was cruising around the 40mph area, and I had not made any changes from the LSH trim. As most know these hulls are no longer being made. It has nicks, chips, and touched up paint areas that are only cosmetic. The crowd at events loves Batman. I will take $325 PayPal shipped CONUS only, all you need to add is your receiver, receiver battery, and your own prop. I may also entertain straight up trades, see below for possible trades. Hydro #2. Captain America 29" Fiberglas Bandit Larsony P-sport hydro was built back in May 2007 to replace Batman as my P-sport hydro. It comes with brand new Fiegao 8xl w/cooling jacket (only one run), old style Hacker 77 (lipo capable), Fuller's hardware, 12 IB4200shv cells, OSE wire drive, servo and turn fin. It has a few light nicks and chips from normal racing, and one repair spot where another hydro's turn fin cracked the edge. I just slapped some epoxy on it and sprayed it with paint, it would only take a little effort to sand and paint it back to perfect. Captain America lost his head about 2 months ago (I got the original Pez head from ebay $5), and has been replaced with a Nascar helmet from another Pez. It came to me with a slight bow in the hatch, but tapes down flat and fine with no problems. The current setup is running in the 50mph range with an x640, and 55mph range with an x642. I will take $350 PayPal shipped CONUS only, all you need to add is your receiver, receiver battery, and your own prop. These hulls are no longer made, they are very rare, and make the perfect P-sport hydro. This is a VERY stable running at high speeds. PayPal only, and I will only ship these to the continental U.S. I will not part these hydros out, if I do not find a buyer or a trade they will go to eBay with starting bids of what I am selling them here for.
Trades: If trading, I will pay 2/3 of the shipping cost of the hydro to you, and you will pay the other 1/3 + shipping to me. The parts I am looking for will not cost much to ship to me. I will trade either hydro above straight out for any one of the below, both hydros if you have one of the Nue's & one of the esc's . :)
