    Scorpion 120A ESC

I've decided to sell this ESC, if anyone is interested. It's a special water-cooled version and they are pretty expensive new. It has a IR programming remote that comes with it as well.
I ran this ESC a couple times and it worked well. The third time I went to run it, I decided to use the programmer and change the timing. Since that time, I have not been able to get it to bind correctly to my rx/tx. It comes on and beeps the series of beeps to let you know it has power, but wont recognize the rx/tx (a second series of beeps). I've spent enough time messing with it and I'm washing my hands of it. I removed the shrink wrap to check for damage just in case something happened while programming, but everything looks fine.

I'll sell it for about a quarter of what it costs, $50 shipped CON US (buyer to pay 3% paypal fees or send money so there are none)

I have a water cooled 180 in my P-Mono and love it. I am interested but if I can't get it to bind can I send it back for a refund?

I would contact Lucien Miller at www.innov8tivedesigns.com . He's the importer of scorpion products to the USA.. Maybe he can help you with your problem. Since you removed the shrinkwrap you probably can't get it warrantied.

I looked at the site but didn't see any water cooled esc's.

Doesn't matter, the programming issue is probably common between aircraft and marine controllers. I remember scorpion announcing marine stuff a long time ago but it never seemed to materialize. I asked Lucien about it but he hadn't gotten anything regarding marine from scorpion at the time. Where did you get the controller?

Mine came from Australia as well.
Sorry Greg, I dont really want to sell it and then worry about getting it back. If i were to guarantee it working fine, I would want more than $50. I hope I didn't mis-represent it in my initial post. There would be risk involved in buying it. You could mess with it for a while and get it to work, or it just might need to be fixed. I dont know what scorpion charges to fix them but I would imagine total money invested would be less than a new ESC.

It's good to know yours has worked well. Mine did great the first couple times. I dont know what happened. There was no fire, smoke, smell, ect...just wont work correctly.

Keith have you tried it with a completely different type of radio before?? I know ive had major issues with an aquastar 120 and i couldn't get it to rebind for the life of me, and then finally i tried a different type of radio system (trx 2.4) and it binded.
