    Aeromarine Fountain Rio

As titled. Way to many boats. I gave my brother 2 boats tonight. Hull is 30x6 & weighs about nothing. I cleaned out the epoxy and it's ready to be setup. The strut is push pull, is for 3/16th propshaft, 150 cable & has a bushing installed. I will include the aluminum curved water outlets. Hull was great in chop. Paypal only 100(firm) shipped for the package to the lower 48. 110 to HI, AK & Canada. I will take trades for sr3000 & sr3001 Dss receivers.

    Few more shots.

The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

Did you make that strut? It's looking like a speedmaster lower. Did you catch any video of this hull running? Does It turn well?

Lonewolf scratch built that strut for me. The traxxas setup did not rurn all that hot because of a miss alinment I had. But it did turn if I took my time and didnt go hard over. With a set of small turnfins it will fine. Not to mention this strut is the correct height for the transom.

I wonder why this hull has an angled transom?

It's semi scale. If you look @ the full scale fountain its on a rounded angle. I guess this is a close as they can get and still make hardware install possible. You know I can have a standered or unsteerable strudder made. I will have to look into costs.

as I'm sure you know full size boats have a 15-20 degree angled transom

Sure but, It's just odd that It would be done on a model boat considering you are limited to one style of hardware.

That is where the stuffing or drive tube exits for the drive line. I will explain a little for you. With any inboard motor the drive line needs to exit the hull so we drill out an area for this. This hull is set up for s surface drive, in which the propeller is half in and out of the water. That determined where I had to make the exit opening. I spit the diffrence between the transom and the bottom as to get the correct depth for the prop. Depending on what height the motor mont is & what bend is needed for the tube it may have to be elongated. In any case it is easy to fill in if you wanted to adapt some typ of outboard system. The outdrive thats included with this hull is steerable. So you will need to cut the drive tube even with the transom and leave the flex cable free to flex right to left.
I hope this helps you out a bit.
