FOR SALE: HPR 135 "Motley Crue" RTR - must take a look!

    Hello Guys,

today not presenting a HPR boat but offering one for a good friend of mine.

    HPR 135 Motley Crue

A good friend of mine is selling his HPR 135 because he now changed to a Mystic 185cm which is slightly bigger. His HPR is a real dream boat, superior building quality and just high end components. The boat comes completely RTR, just without props and receiver.

    Features:
Hull: HPR 135, completely reinforced and very strong
Hardware: complete HPR Hardware-Kit with arneson drives, rudder and hydraulics
engines: 2x LMT 2280/7's with Air-cooling, long water jacket and rear support
    ESC's: 2x YGE 160HV with added Cap7's (5 additional caps)
    lipos: 2x 10S Turnigy 5000mAh
lipo mount: CF lipo rail system, selfmade and perfect fit for the boat
    design: Mötley Crue
    servo: Graupner DS 8511
others: hatch lock with countersunk screws, Notaus-System

With this setup and props between Octura X447 and cut down X457 the boat is capable of speeds around 100mph.

    Price offer: 3500USD + shipping

At first this may sound a lot but I'd say its cheap for what you get - just calculate a bit. Alone the servo is around 200USD (!), the ESC's with Caps 1200USD, the engines with couplers 1500USD,.....

And here some pictures of what you get (showing future 40.160's, you'll get YGE 160 HV Navys):

          Hi Mel,

yes, although the boat was only run maybe 10 times I've got a video of the boat running with X447's and already with the YGE 160HV's. Please keep in mind that Wolfgang is a skilled builder but used to drive bigger gas boats (HPR 233, HPR CT04). So the boat can corner very good but he was not used to this boat, thats why the first ones are not that brilliant, to the end its much better! For the flip: looked cool, hull takes it with ease!

At least the video shows what the boat is capable of, sound and running performance are very good I think

But feel free to add some comments or questions!

I'm glad rcbidder is getting it because if I keep looking at it I'll end up doing something really stupid.
