That is certainly correct. Just like NiMH cells where bargain packs just did not perform like top level cells. Guys in our club learned that the hard way - they saw the older memebers running GP3300s and thought they were very clever when they announced that they had purchased 6-cell packs for half of what the rest of us paid. But when the races started, the new guys were left in the dust - and not by poor driving or lousy hulls or motors. Remember that ALL the power you have in your boat is in the cells. You can't go really fast on cheap cells.

very true but not to bad, Ive seen the same cells elsewhere and I guess they thought they had them laced with diamonds .....lol.

The Elite cells aren't priced to bad. I wonder if they perform close to the TP,FP and Poly cells?

Out club chairman has tested both, he likes the elite cells for the money. but he says the TP, FP and PQ cells are still better.

UH.com has lipos...I know most of you guys know that. Last I checked they had Polyquest 4s1p 4500Mah 30C for 120$ + S/H.

Thats a good battery for a good price :D
