    Aeromarine Mean Machine hull/hardware

This is a MM that I bought from JMScard. It was gutted and re-inforced with carbon fiber cloth. Stuffing tube re-installed flush with the bottom of sponsons. Etti motor mount installed. New servo mount with stock servo. Huey 3/16 cable/shaft w/teflon liner. Stock strut and rudder. Auto bailers re-installed. PVC stand. Has a couple tiny paint chips on top, and need paint touch-up where stuffing tube exits bottom of hull.

It had a castle 1512 and turnigy 180 in it for about 3-4 runs @ 45mph. Handled excellent and hull was water tight. Sold the motor and esc to fund another project. Prop not included.

    $120/shipped

    U.S. only

    No trades.

    Post here for dibbs.

Cool deal. Nice hull & setup. Very clean!

I have an extra 1717 with nothing to do and a ton of 200a ESC's to spare, so why not a 6s 1717 mean machine?

Have any suggestions for COG/setup on this bugger? Also, how the hell does the hatch seal?

your thoughts are like my own, I'm wondering what I'll do with a few 1717's and the mean machine with one in it has crossed my mind too.

Well, there isn't room for a cooling can, but I really doubt it'll be necessary in a sport configuration.

I've got it in and all wired up to run on 6s. I've got some 6s long lipos and some 3s 45c's to run in series to test...

Guess I'll start a thread on it.

BTW- Scott, what's with the cookies? Haven't tried any, but curious.

They are potato chips that I was given several cases of from a vendor. They're actually pretty good, and I got desperate for packing material to take up space in the box. I just used yellow electrical tape to seal the hatch. It's a little tedious getting it on the inside corners in the back, but it actually seals up really well. My old thundercat was the same and I didn't have any issues with water coming in or the tape coming off. Glad it arrived safely!

Scott, was there a cable in the box? Just re-read the OP and it looks like the cable's included.

Guessing that it takes a .187?

LOL... never mind! It had fallen out and was laying on the floor next to the box. Guess that solves my cable questions. =)
