What kind of speeds were you running in with this boat?

I have one of those in transit to me now. I am going to run a 6 or 7L on 2 or 3s. They are wicked fast little boats. I bought it to replace the Maus Bullet I had to sell last may. I am told I wont be dissapointed.

I've never GPS'd it. I can tell you that it will run with the fastest NIMH 6 cell boats in the country that share it's size range. (I'm all lipo now, but haven't run them in this rig.)

Last time I had it out, I ran an x632 and that was on the outer edge. I'd have to back off a bit at the end of a 220 ft. straight.

I was going to trim the tongues on the 632 and try again, but never got around to it.

You won't be disappointed with the speed. It can be a handful.

Drobie I know you stated you would not like to break this listing up. If after a while you do I will buy the power system. Just a thought.

I just ordered a new supervee but it's on backorder till 12/21 I think. How would this compare to a SV. I think I could still cancel the order.

I've seen this boat, iirc its smaller than a sv(approx 22"), and a good bit faster(around 45-50mph). But as drobie mentioned it was a handfull, only 2 things in the water were the prop and rudder...and sometimes not even those :).

Sounds like fun! I can't believe my luck. I've been watching S.S., ebay, and RCU marketplace for a while now and haven't seen anything that really caught my eye. So I ordered the SV and sure enough right away 2 boats pop up I really wouldn't mind having. I really like this and the black titan w/vapor or smoke painted on her. Maybe I'm better off with a SV since this will be my first real boat. I do have a lot of experience with nitro and electric trucks/buggies. I have a mini-v that I did a bunch of modding to and now it is way overpowered with a Feigao 380 16s 1476kv BL motor , pulso 40a esc, 3s 1650mah lipo, .098 cable drive conversion, and an Octura x432 detounged/ballanced prop. It litterally jumps out of the water. I bought it for something I could use in a pool as well as the river/lake but now I if I touch the throttle it launches to the other end of the 50" pool in like 1.5 seconds. So it is pretty much impossible to run in a pool w/o a disasterous ending. I am thinking about ordering a micro mogli for the esc/motor. I think it would handle the power much better.

I run one that is a very similar build, built by Doug Peterson over on RRR. I run a
x632 with a Hacker 8s on 2s 1p 8000mah placed right down the middle. The thing turns on a dime and runs super stable....Great boat.
