Sorry to hear about the job, also. I wish you the best in finding something. Now for the plug. I own one of these. It's a great hull. Scott offers great communications in setting it up. It truly does turn on a dime. I've heard nothing but good things about this hull. I've run mine to shore after my rudder kicked up, didn't even have a scratch. Definitely worth twice or more for what he's selling them for. This is faster and more fun than my SV27 and more stable.

What NEU motor would you recommend for this hull?

The NEU is for another guy. I'm just so happy with mine, I try to help out other guys with their setups. Whatever they do, I can learn from them and improve mine. Maybe get more people to try out this hull.

Thanks Scott!!! I got the 2 hulls in today, they look great.. Scratch and dent my A$$.... These are very nice hulls, not at all flimsy, carbon center is real strong, nice mounting set-up on the hatch, and the 2 color lay out is COOL!!!

                      Merry Christmas, Rich

Im still waiting on mine :-(

anyway, I got a question. I've never installed fresh hardware on a car before. How do you guys set the stuffing tube straight? I was thinking maybe I would mount the hardware all straight and square first, then install the motor mount, then the motor and coupler, then I could install the tube, install a cable from the back end all the way into the motor coupler, and after all that, it would be straight.

Yeah.....i've never been much of a bulider, this is gonna be fun. lol

These Skunkworks Cat's have a predrilled hole for the stufing tube to go through the hull. I am going to center and mount my hardware on the transome. Then run the tube into the hull, to see what length I need. After I cut it to lenght, I will install the flex cable and test fit the motor & mount. After I get the motor and flexshaft lined out, I mark the motor/mount position...Then I ruff up the surface where the motor mount will go, and epoxy or jb weld the mount in place...I really like OSE motor mounts LOW profile and just bend according to the flex shaft angle..I also see OSE has a new adj. mount as well! Should be a nice Kitty!!!

Guys this isen't one of my favorite parts of a build either. One tool I notice that will make life easer is the new K&S pipe benter. It's on my list of must have tools. I use a borrowed brake line bender right now & it's not the best. I think Steven can order the K&S benders. I will ask.
