Price Reduced to $445.00
Price Reduced again.. Last Time. $345.00
This boat is really nice. The only things I will note are the Turnigy stickers on the top of the cowl that did not lay down flat, but will pull right off. The other items is a sticker on one side has come a little loose with the blue graphics right at the tip. The graphics on the side came from a sticker pack from a helicopter of all things and I probably can tell you where to get that if needed.
If you want to change the look, pull all the stickers off, but I like how it came out.
What is NOT included is:
1. 1521 motor/cooler/coupler
2. esc
3. Prop
4. Receiver
I will include
1. Servo and linkage
2. Stand
3. All hardware on back
4. Drive shaft with drive dog etc.
I built this boat. I bought the parts from the manufacturer and installed them myself. I made a key change to the layout inside. I moved the motor mount forward so that you can place a 4s lipo up against the flood chamber wall. You then can put another
4s battery on the other side up against the shaft drive. You set it up as described, and it will roll with no weights every time. The only item that did not come to me new was the rudder assembly, I got that from a guy in Europe and it is the correct one for this boat. You can also see I added some bracketing around the shaft to ensure the batteries stay off the moving parts.
Oh yeah, the strut is not from toysport. I did not like theirs so I bought that from Steven.
This one is hard for me to sell, but I have other projects I want to do and the wife says I need to be self funded for awhile. I will sell it for 495.00 shipped to anywhere in the U.S. For comparison, the new version is 630.00 without shipping and the layout changes I put in. With the setup shown I have I ran in the upper 50's. Lot's of pictures for you.
If you are new to the hobby and want to buy it RTR I will consider it, but would rather keep the Neu and esc for other projects. Besides, I don't want to have to "worry" about you having any problems with the electronics, but they do all work fine.
UPDATE:
I also have the the two fins that some of these boats have mounted on the top of the two cowls...
