    NiMH Cells Cheap

I have one 12-cell pack made with Intellect IB3600 cells and two with IB4200s. These were top of the line racing cells when new, but now they are old. The IB3600 pack is still good and charges well. The other two have dead cells, some are probably okay. You can take all 36 cells or just the 3600 pack for the sale price - your choice. All are end-to-end soldered with Deans bars and 4mm gold plugs.

$10 for either one or three packs plus shipping. PayPal only. Please respond in this thread, no PMs will be considered.

I bought the cells in 2005 and 2006. They can go Flat Rate which is $10.95.

Fluid can the cells be mixed to make 7 cell hump packs ?
Like six 3600 cells & one 4200 cell.
        I never made packs before.

        Thanks for input.

You do not want to mix different capacity cells in the same pack, that is really asking for trouble when charging. You could end up blowing up a pack - I've seen it happen.

Not easily. You can measure the voltage with a simple volt meter, but nickel cells can show good voltage without a load - but lose that voltage under load. You need a load tester similar to what the auto shop uses to test automotive batteries.

Ok i have a auto battery load tester and multimeter, an trying to find some of the same cells.
Waiting on feed back for them.
How much of a load on a cell to tell if it ok ?

Twenty amps should be enough to tell if the cell is okay or not. It should stay well above 1.1 volt per cell at that load.
