Hello Guys,
a few days ago, I sold a CF lipo rail system for a HPR06/MHZ Mystic C5000 here and a some others liked it: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=21562
It was sold within a few minutes
, but as others where interested as well, I could make these as custom work beside also other parts cut out of CF sheet from time to time.
For materials :I use high strength CF sheets, black GFK sheets and even sandwich materials like carbon-balsa-carbon or with cevlar-honeycomb core.
Here some pictures, from left to right:
-HPR06 (now owned by an OSE member)
-HPR06
-HPR06 (double packs)
-Supercat XL (ground plates: 450x115mm
)
-Supercat XL (each rail with 12S 5000mAh 40C)
For mounting:
These ground plates are glued to the hull bottom or inside the sponsons, I recommend using aquarium silicone as it offers high strength (remember: complete aquariums are made by glueing big glass sheets together only using this silicone) and it may be removed which is a bit difficult if you use epoxy. And when a crash occurs the silicone also allows a bit of damping.
For the lipos: I use a combination of double sided tape and clear shrinking tube.
As most of these are custom work you may contact me what you need and I'll make you a design and an offer.
Best regards,
Manuel
PS: Maybe this thread can be also moved to "Unique Products and Services by OSE Members" if necessary.
