larry how big is your drifter how many cells and what kind of speeds were you getting

Just under 37" long.Ran 6s1p and used an X445 and got 62.1mph.This motor can turn a decent sized prop without a sweat.Its a very nice running motor,I just dont need it anymore since Im making my Drifter a twin.I dont have any single drives boats anymore besides my hydro.

so it should push a 34" boat pretty good then, huh? would a seaking 180 handle it on 6s?

Is it a Gieco hull?If so,is it 34"overall?I thought these were 28 or 30"?When measuring the length of a boat,measure the hull only and dont count the hardware of the rear.Yes, a 180amp esc will do,just disable the BEC and run a reciever pack.

no,no,no its a kos cat those are 34" right idk i havent received it yet just trying to get ready for when it gets here

Oh ok.Its 32"Venom advertises the entire or overall length.It ll work excellent in that.Run two 3s 5000mah highest c rated packs you have.She ll run real nice.Probably a mid 60's mph or so with the right prop.Id start with an X445.I did,and you saw the speed I got posted above.
