    Dark Horse Shovel-Special boat

I thought I'd post this here before I put it up on ebay.

This is one of my special layup boats. It's carbon and glass, built rediculously tough (I'm hard on these things). This hull holds the Namba N2 sport SAW record (Dick Crowe driving) and the O sport 1/8 mile oval record (me driving).

Hardware is a combination of Speedmaster and Fuller's. Runs a 1/16 wire drive. Steering servo is an Airtronics 94357 High speed/torque (severe overkill, but you never lose steering).

It has some battle scars (check pics) but is still very solid and competitive.

I've only built 5 boats with this kind of layup and only 3 are still around.

      1509-1.5D or a 1515-1D/.5Y

I ran the 1515 motors. John M runs the 1509 to good success.
