Rail mount for 4'' rails with ESC mount......

Just finished this mount for Ripfence , it bolts to 4'' rails in a mono and has a large esc mounting plate......... I cant wait to see both custom mounts that I have built for customers in action !

Very cool work Randy, I will post up some pics of mine in place.

One note - for the outrunner applications, you might need a bigger opening due to the little cotter pin. I had to drill mine out to .4" (no biggie at all). Now it works perfectly! It even appears to line up perfectly with the strakes, so even more solid.

I am gonna need a pair of turn fins (preferably black), how much they goin' for?

thanks again, love the work and the CF is beautiful!!

I dont have any black cf but plane on getting some....a 12'' square of .o80(2mm) was $103.00 , high quality stuff though....I will get some....Black fins will probably be around $ 40.00 for a pair shipped and that is a turn fin 1.5'' wide by 3.75'' long with brackets and bolts. The fins on my Rico are 1.5'' by 2.75''......... $32.00 for the colored..

''Dragon Plate'' has some CF laminate that could go on you rails, I think that is ware I will buy some black CF. I am really hoping that the 2mm motor plate works with minimal flex , too much flex was one of my concerns that is why there so many bolts on the motor plate. When you have her bolted in the rails , move the motor around and check flex, a little is ok but if it seems to much for your drive line then send me the motor plate and i can make another one to double it up.... For sure on 5'' rails I would like to go with 3mm thick motor plate.....I will make it work for you ! Trying to save you money.......and thank you !
