For sale is a used Neu 1521/1Y/S 5mm shaft motor. This motor was purchased from OSE by the original owner, was sent to Neu for a refurb and was dated 9/9/10 and never used. I bought this motor from that owner. The is a STRONG running motor. Was used in a light monster truck for 8 runs on 6s geared for 40mph, motor never broke 100*f in that truck.
**The motor endured some damage in a crash however still runs like a beast. The front endbell screws on to the motor can via some fine threads. In the crash the fine threads stripped, so the front endbell is loose but in place. It is held in by a set screw. I was going to send this into Neu for repair but never did. Then I was going to get some small screw so that I could drill and tap the endbell onto the can like most Neu's come now.
The motor still runs great and would be a great motor for lots of boating applications. The motor endbell/can can be easily fixed. Or you could run a motor mount like such: MOTOR MOUNT to support the motor properly and keep the endbell in check.
Due to the endbell, I'm only asking $115 shipped in the US for the motor.
