I am selling one or two of my 24" wild thing style mono's. This is a gelcoat with epoxy layup glass layup, carbon in the bottom. The carbon had peel ply laid over it, so the bottom is etched and ready for glue. That is why it is not shiny.
The hull is not perfect, I had a couple of bubbles in the gelcoat that I had to fill in and wet sand out. One is on the port chine and bow, another on the starboard side of the hatch opening. Nothing wrong with it, but the shiny gelcoat is sanded on.
The plain hull weighs in at 13.4 oz. This is one of my first epoxy layups on these, so I am hoping it holds up well, but need someone to take the plunge and build it/run it!
hatch cover is vacuum formed, the web between the drivers helmets can be trimmed and sanded, I have done this on several of the crackerboxes also and it works well. some glue on the inside of the seam, and sand it down.
I have a build thread on a similar one here:
http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...hlight=strakes
with a turnigy 3650-2300.
There are more pictures in my album section also.
There are others on here that have built similar boats. The boat does not have any strakes except for the chines, but I can include some bondo strakes and they can be glued on the same as my other build. Or run it as is.
I would like $35 + SH for this. figure 2-3lbs from 46725 zip, I prefer UPS for shipping. With CONUS shipping I would guess $42 to $43
I have this one and another just like it except it did not have peel ply in the bottom, so the carbon is shiny.
thank you for looking, please ask any questions. Brian
