    FS......Zenoah 260

I know this is an electric forum but I'm sure some of you run gas as well so I figured I would post this for sale here before it goes on flea bay.

This is a Zenoah G260 PUM. I put this in my Aeromarine Apache 50" about five years ago. It has maybe an hour of run time on it. The boat did 50 MPH with this engine.

It is in almost "out of the box" condition. The boat was never submerged with this engine. The engine has never ingested water. It always started within 3-4 pulls of the cord.

The only thing it needs are new O-rings for the tuned pipe and someone that knows how to set the mixture screws. I was messing with them and got them all out of whack. Once those are set properly this engine will run perfect. The Bonzi Sports website has instructions on how to do this in their FAQ section.

Included are the anodized mounts, anodized water jacket, complete exhaust with tuned pipe, clutch, extra starter, spark plug tool and stock aluminum water jacket.

The clutch takes a 1/4" square flex drive. Because this engine has a clutch the crank case is tapped for a pulse water pump. The pump dried out from non use so I chucked it. You can buy one for like 30 bucks at Bonzi Sports.

Such a nice engine......why am I selling it? Converting the boat to brushless, why else....LOL

I have nearly a grand into this engine, $300.00 shipped anywhere in the USA?

EDIT: These pictures were taken 5 minutes before posting this. The date in the camera is messed up.

You might try listing this on Jim's RC Boat Dock. It would probably sell Quick at that price. Phil

Yeah I used to be very active on Jims, but because its been so long I would have to sign up again and start as a new member. Not may people willing to deal with a new member. If it doesn't sell here within a week I'l put it on flea bay, I know it will sell there.

No mods other than the anodized cosmetic stuff you see. All stock and never taken apart.

Yeah its stock, off the shelf in the original box at my LHS. This was 5-6 years ago when the G260 PUM's were fairly new.

I know I paid just over $500 for it because I got a $500.00 Christmas bonus from one of my customers and I went straight to the hobby shop and bought it, I remember thinking "free engine".

Thats just how much they cost back then, I know they are cheaper now.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Perfect complete power plant to get someone project going. Even a brand new stock G260 today is around $250.00, then add the clutch, mounts, exhaust and anodized parts and you're going to be at 600-700 bucks.

Maybe your price is too good!

if you decide to part it out i would take the pipe and header.

Yeah I'm not trying to make a profit. I just don't think I will ever use it again and its a shame for it to just sit in my garage. I don't want to give it away either, I figure 300 shipped is fair and will help offset some of what I have been spending on my boats lately. Its in the thousands. LOL

This is a good deal, even at todays prices, would cost $500 to $600. If I was in the market for a motor I would jump at it : Chris you are still listed as a member on Jims Larry
