Christmas contest only for real kid's

I am looking for a child who would like to learn to build a 1/16th Scale Hydroplane kit.
Obviously the Father would need to be involved but I want the child to learn while building.
Here is the deal. I have a 1/16th scale lasercut frame kit for a miss Thriftway,
With all the wood needed to finish the build and a vacuum formed cowl to go along with it.

Age has to be 18 and under
Just write a little about yourself and a paragraph as to why you would like to build a rc hydroplane
The cutoff date for entries is 12:00 noon on Christmas Day and I will pick the winner by Sunday the 26th.

    Here is what you get.

Great idea Jim. Very kind of you too. When I get home I'll see if my 8yo daughter wants to try out.

I should ad I don't want to give it someone where the child isn't really interested and the Dad ends up building it.

In the spirit or in character, both or either are commendable. Hat's off to you.

Jim this is great, My grandson is going on 4 and has 2 of his own boats That I have built for him, I have had the transmitter in his hand for nealy a year. He is always "helping" me with builds. I hope to have a kids class in the club as many of the kids and grandkids are getting just about old enough. Who ever wins this should reall enjoy it. Hats off to you Jim.

                            Great Project JIM,
I will donate some of the decals that I can make to help out with the build if they want to do a scale look.
