FS: ARTR KOS P1 mono - highly modified

It's that time of year again... when my finances start pinching.

Hate to do it, just got this going a week before the ponds froze and hoped I would be able to hang on until the thaw..... but alas no.

ALL YOU SEE (MINUS RX) FOR $310 SHIPPED CONT US (INTERNATIONAL PAYS DIFFERENCE)
Hull/hardware for $190 shipped (same as above, w/o motor/esc) -------------- SSSSSOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDD to the Tiquinator

KOS I bought stock on here with repaired hull (see pics in next post), gutted and fiberglassed the hull. Added custom motor mount, servo mount and strut bracket. Rudder is new purchased at OFE store. strut is a Wholt original and I am amazed at how there is NO play, but very smooth spinning. New .150 flex / 3/16" stub, and S/B X642 prop is included. I added turn fins and with the longer rudder, she is AWESOME in chop - I am sure most have seen the slo mo vid I posted a bit ago.

This has a new CC 1520 motor with new cooling jacket (purchased at OFE store). New HiModel 200A ESC was waterproofed and cooled by me. NOTE: I can swap a spec motor (near new Proboat BJ motor/esc) for same price. I also added an extra through hull water intake to allow independent cooling so I could go for some serious speed. The goal was to get this thing into the 60s, but the inline rudder I had mounted was instigating trouble, so I offset the rudder - should be mucho mejor.

Final upgrade is tinting with black backing and fiberglass reinforcement to the hatch. I also added some trim around the windows - I really am sad to see this beauty go, but she is itchin for some action.

I will include the new 6V 2000 mah nimh to go with the ESC, which is OPTO and requires external power. the rx is not included - only in there to show how tight she is set up. I even went around the velcro with CA to ensure it doesn't come loose at just the wrong moment.

All linkages are tight with no play, she is super ready to hit the waves. you will need to find the perfect spot for the strut, but with this set up you have infinitely more adjustment than the stock one.

THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND!!!!

I can add a pair of 5S Turnigy 3600mah 30-40 C packs with y adapter for $50 more. will post pics if there is interest.

more pics. last one is close up of through hull water pick up. Base is 95% true, might need a little truing, but I didn't notice any issues at 45 mph. Hull is SUPER strong, with the repair and an extra layer of FG on the inside, she can take some pounding.

last pics. shot of flotation in hatch, close ups of internal arrangement, showing the custom mounts (I didn't find any that would work as good, super strong and minimum width for battery packs. the little tray the ESC is sitting on is recycled tray that was in the back. Works nicely to keep the ESC up off the floor and for passing the water exit under to keep her ship shape.

selling due to lack of cash. all or nothing, not breaking up the deal - if I sell the hatch... who wants a boat w/o a hatch? I really don't want to sell, and if I can find cash another way, maybe I won't have to, but for now its for sale.
