Jae .12 RTR with Rx Tx

Here is another boat my friend built before deciding to go gas motors. Very well constructed Jae with a O.S. 18tz-tx. Motor has not been broken in yet and has the head cut down for marine application. Tx and Rx are Futaba 2.4ghz FASST system. Two props included one ready to go and the other about 90% sharpened.
Just the motor and Radio alone cost over $300 SOLDSOLDSOLDSOLD

No strut. May be unorthodox to some but when you consider that there is only 1" from the back skid pad or whatever you call it until the front of the stub shaft, it's pretty solid. The stuffing tube has no liner and is 2 tubes one inside the other. I pushed around on it and it's pretty solid. I would have no worries running this with no strut.

Thanks Killer, my buddy does fine work for sure. Very mechanical.

Thanks guys. This thing should be quick, I think that motor is close 1.75hp. Boat was only in the water long enough for the motor to die from not being broken in yet. (and a bad launch on my part). Every part on the boat was brand new when installed also.

Are you willing to sell the hull, and hardware only?

Compared to the strut that most people run on the JAE riggers, it looks just as effective.

Light travels faster than sound, so people may appear to be bright until you hear them speak.

Really?! So you think brass standing on it's own will be just as strong as having it held by a strut????

Not as strong, But just as effective IMO.

I agree with dangerous. Try and bend a two layer thick 1" long brass tube that has not been annealed....Pretty tough.
