Here I have (2) 6s lipos... they are Poly RC 5000 mah 30c 6s lipos ( Enerland now rebadges these as 35c 5050 packs... call pat at rclipos and he will tell you... as one... same exact cells..)
anyway I bought these as 5 cycle old packs off Mike Martin... he used them and had his guy try 10 gauge wire on them to see if it made a difference hence why there is a little tape taping up the shrink where it was cut to install the 10gauge wire... he later realized there was no gain and went back to the smaller gauge... the packs worked perfect the one cycle I ran them on.... then I let them sit in storage most of the summer... cycled them a couple times and they were fine... about a month ago I cycled them again and noticed a lazy cell... both the number one cell.. (worst case would be easy to cut down to 5s packs...) all other cells charge up fine and the lazy cell on one pack charges up to 4.05 on the last cell... the other one I got sick of waiting on the charger... got up to 3.87.... aggghhhh .... these may just need to be really cycled a few time I don't know... its certainly not gonna help having them sit another winter.... Tracy...TTH said he would turn them into 5s packs for me for free if I wanted, just wanted me to ship them to him of course... I just didn't have the heart to do it til I knew they couldn't be revived... and here they still sit
both packs have 5.5mm bullets on them, I paid $350 for the pair shipped back in march and they were 2 months old.... the packs have NO puffing whatsoever, and are rock hard like they are supposed to be....they performed AWESOME the one cycle I put on them just after purchasing.... BOY This NOT running my boats can be terrible.. Make me an offer if interested and they may just be yours... I don't know what to ask or I would put a price on them...... times like this make it bad to be a swap shop vulchar...lol... too much buying not enough running...
