Just seemed odd he will sell the whole thing shipped for $300 but wants $200 just on the shovel.

I told him flat out I would pay $100 for it and he can keep the batts/radio. I thought this was fair considering the overall price of $300 for everything...

madgadget pm'ed me on working a side deal on the shovel. We have a deal in place and he has supposedly closed the deal with the owner. Ive informed him that once he gets the boats in his hands I want to see more pics of the shovel before I pay him. Been scammed before and have been tested in the past. Wont make that mistake again.

I just want to clarify I am not implying that madgadget may possibly be a scammer. My above statement was simply to make sure that what he receives is what I think I am buying. I would hate to just agree to this third party sale, pay for the item, he gets the item and doesnt unwrap it, sends it to me and something is wrong. Thats the concern here.

Well Madgadget bought the lot. The guy shipped it all I guess.

However he decided to back out of our arrangement and I dont get to purchase the shovel now. I think thats pretty crappy, but the woman will be happy I guess.

Time to buy a cat now!

It's unfortunate that you have anger regarding a limited risk arrangement Ryan. While you were trying to find the courage and money to buy these boats I got his number and paypaled him. What little I know of electric boats this was a good deal even when the little hydro showed up damaged as I told you. However I wanted 2 functional boats for an outing and paid the price to have them and now I do. The repair of the hydro is not major but time is short. You should have listened to this boater....

It's apparent that I did not make myself clear in any of our communications as I told you......
1. I only wanted two boats for an outing.
2. Check me out on any of several heli and airplane sites, rcu included and you had little to fear. I regret that you are kinda mad but it is what it is. Life is too short to be kinda anything, either you are or are not. Good luck with your cat and future projects.

Well I feel left down more than anything. We had an agreement and I looked forward to the purchase. If I would of known this would be the outcome I would of just bought the entire lot then and liquidated the other pieces. However I didnt pursue it because we had an agreement. You professed to be a man of your word and I took you at it.

1) You never brought that up and it doesnt make much difference I guess?

2) Yes you stated that. So I took you at your word and let you pursue the boat lot per the agreement.

I could of paypaled him the money same day it was posted. Its no big thing- I just didnt want the hassle of having to liquidate two boats.
