1/12 scale miss Elam nitro converted to .078 wire drive electric. Hull is pretty ugly and has been smacked a few times (repaired) and is structurally strong. Carbon fiber floor and 2 part poly foam in the front sponsons and rear ride pads. Top of front sponsons have a hole each in them where balast was taken out. Was running a BJ motor on 6s and getting about 50mph out of her. Cool battery trays with velcro straps on each side of the wire drive added. Comes with everything you see in the pictures just needs a good paint job. SOLD AND IN TRANSIT

free bump - but question LOL....I've currently got a brushless converted Miss Llumar and I don't have any room to the sides of the motor mount and stuffing tube, like you do. Does the nitro Elam come with a different hull layout, where the space inside the hull is wider?Go Brushless or GO HOME -
I can't take credit for the design of my layout. I actually copied Jesse J's setup pretty close. The battery compartment I made is impressive in my opinion, maybe the most cool feat on the boat. Hey thanks for the reply....that's exactly what I was looking for in your pics! How did you gut it out though? That pocket is exactly what I need to do on my Llumar. My Llumar stops at the opening of the canopy and goes straight down

I though this was the swap shop....
I carefully busted the wood stringers out and made a carbon fiber insert and epoxied it in. Velcro straps wrap totally
around the battery and is a beautiful fit. (if i do say so myself) Perhaps the purchase of this hull will help you in the understanding of the setup.
