    prop box input

i am in the process of making a case to hold my props and wondering if there is any market for this on OSE. wanted a few ideas as i am making a few prototypes today. if interested:
how many props would you like it to hold?
is it better to be big and flat or small and tall (12x8x4" vs: 8x6x8" double layer)
what is a reasonable price for a small wood box with pins and foam
    thanks for the input..

    Big/Flat
1/8 props have a different color pin than the 3/16

can't be too much cause the plastic jobbies out there are $5 or less. I could see paying a little more for something a little more style, but would need to have:

      see thru lid
      lightweight and durable
variable compartments (30mm to 60+ mm)
maybe two layer, but would have to be back to back

I have thought about it, even bought a piece of 3/16" dowel, but the dowel is still sitting there and my props are still in the little plastic thread spool containers...

        Big and flat.

Not sure how much $$$. Guess it depends on how cool it is.
Myself... I don't mind paying good money for something that is cool, and practical.

It depends on the quality. When you have 50 props that you have either spent $1500 on or spent 30-50 hours on balancing, the box is worth gold.

            True Steve.

You can use Bolts & nuts thru the bottom of any box to keep them in place.
