    Neu/Castle 2650 w/Cooling Can

Installed brand new when I bought the boat, I ran this in my Apparition at 53mph on 3s w/T180 ESC & x440. The motor never got hot and was insane sounding on 4s at 58+ mph. Probably could have gone faster with a bigger prop!

It has a Castle 2200kv OSE Cooling Can that has been trimmed to fit the 2650. The bearings feel smooth and the shaft feels firm between poles. The shaft has been slightly shortened and the motor was taped up during the cutting process. The motor wires were shortened (allowed) and 8mm bullets installed. I'll include the mating connectors.

I've decided to set every boat up on 6s or greater, so no longer have a need for this bad boy. The cool part is, it's shorter than the 4074 and the CC/Neu 2200 and fits under the hull of the Apparition without modifying the motor mount. Yes that means I'll have some other motors for sale too.

    How does $75 shipped sound?

I still have the original motor box and the matching unused Castle MMM ESC, if interested.

I can't get over the 16 gauge wires on it. Just seems like it would melt the wires with any kind of amperage.

i'm running it with 120esc 2x5000 lipos for 3mins and it comes in at 130 temp.
and for some reason the boat likes glass filled props.runs like crap with metal.
The hull is only 22" and i dont think its suited for anything bigger.
