    FS: Tamiya Ferrari F2001

This is my Ferrari Shelf Queen I want to put out there and see what kind of offers would come of it. It is a Discontinued Tamiya kit. Kit #58288, Ferrari F2001 with the F201 Chassis. I even have the original box it came in. Fairly difficult to obtain one of these kits, even in Japan. It has never been ran, only sitting on a shelf. The powerplant I installed is a Castle Creations 1/10 Sidewinder ESC and Castle CMS-4600KV motor. It also has a Spektrum SR3300T receiver. you can run the telemetry kit on this if so desired. If your interested in it, throw an offer my way. Lets see what happens.......

Those are really fun little cars and look fab, much more scale than most of the F1 cars out there. I run mine on a Mamba Max 7700 and 2s A123, the lower KV would probably be better though as with the 7700 the ESC is very hot (no thermals though) and the power is mental.

Mine is almost fully upgraded but there are 2 cheap mods that I would recommend anyone make, first is free, the removal of the glassfibre strip on the bottom that impedes the front suspension movement making it look and handle better, and the second is a set of Pit Schmitzu tyres, they have way more grip than the Tamiya tyres and last longer too, keep the Tamiya ones for shelf queen duty.

Well your a little over half way to the value of the unassembled kit itself.

Also, I have recently upgraded to an all Carbon Fiber chassis....
