Lol--I can't believe all the fuss. And you all think I need to get a life. I have read the rules and they don't ban comments. So I was objecting to the (to me) overuse of the term "mint". While I don't consider Wikipedia a reliable source (I mean, how can anything that can be changed by anybody to say anything be considered "truth"), it did lead me to research the term and yes, it is now commonly accepted to mean a used item in like new condition. So go with it.

Note I made no comment on the value, worth of the deal, or anybody's character--that was what several of the rest of you did. I just made what I considered an innocent observation that I thought was correct but have learned was not. Great, a good day, I learned something new.

But this is a long way from being the first FS thread with "non-related" comments or observations not directed at buying or selling (which some of you seem to believe are mandatory). Feel free to jump on those as well--obviously some of you have lots of time on your hands.

As for me--WOADB....

Oh, yes..another free bump. Maybe this will be the one that keeps it at the top long enough to get noticed and bought.

Now this is uncalled for. I was planning on being quiet, since this has gone on way to long as it is, but now you are making it personal. Yes, I joined 2 years ago, in order to be able to reply to an ad about a boat (not FE), but I have become interested in FE recently and if you could see a listing of my posts, you would note nearly all of them have been in the last 3-4 months--and I don't think any of them can be fairly considered "smartass", even the ones here. Now you are just attacking character, when you know nothing about me, and using profanity, which I consider the last resort of the ignorant and incompetent, and all because of a ridiculous misunderstanding. Gee, I hope you really feel good about yourself

Consider that even the oldest friend was once a new acquaintance, and while I have indeed made a couple of friends here, and hope to make more, it's seems obvious you won't be one of them, and all because you seem unable to stand anyone who doesn't toe your party line, or might think differently from you. Tell me, how does it feel to be perfect, always right, and able to make immediate infallible judgements? Because it's a feeling I know I will never have, nor would I want to think I do.

I don't know about everyone else, but i am in this hobby to have fun not argue with some one and call them names because he made a statement that you didn't like, he even came back and apologized and you still bashed him. WOW! I better watch my P's and Q's If i ever respond to one of your post. Nobody is perfect. It takes a bigger man to apologize than to curse someone out.

I might consider this for my wife if the price was low enough. The price you have is a good deal, no doubt. Just a little too much for me to spend on a boat for the wife (not sure how much she would even use it but I'd like to attempt to raise her interest in the hobby). Let me know if you can cut me a deal on this man. I dont have a whole lot of marine stuff Im looking to trade...I have a sv27 motor if thats worth anything to you...I've also got a 9XL with jacket but I think the motor fried the last esc I hooked it up to so unless you have a way to test it or fix it I would say its junk.
