        Very nice adapters!
I made mine out of a block of aluminum. Very similar to your's :)
And being aluminum it also acts as a motor cooler by transferring heat to the leg, then to water.

The screw is only a plug for the hole through which I can reach the grub screw on the coupler.

I have found that squirting a good bit of oil (i use outboard gear oil) into the top nipple give good results. i do this every run or 2.

The cavity for the coupler holds a bit of oil which will eventually feed into the shaft and also lube the bottom bearing at the same time.

Is that green thing a one way pump or an oil tank?!

It's a fuel filter used as an oil tank.
                          Thanks for the tips guys.

But if you cap the top end of the fuel filter, the vacuum doesn't let the oil flow downwards right?! Or you just cap it while running to prevent water from entering and remove afterwards?!

I don't use a cap on mine, but it might be to prevent leaks for transporting the boat or to make the hole smaller to control the flow.
