I got 5 of these in last september. 2009
3 of them are in mates boats working
the 4th one i just sold to another mate here is Australia (about to run it in his 6s mono)

this is the 5th one i was to run in my 6s mono but im getting rid of it as i have a few to many 40.160s.

The dates on the ESC are
      0909 - meaning 9th month of 2009
      version is V03

      Hope that helps

Thank you David that is exactly what I needed to know. What motors have yall run with this controller. I have read that they have trouble with Neu motors? Do you have any feedback? Apologies, for all the questions. I would like to make an informed decision.
I have some of the older 40/160's and they run flawlesss. Some of the newer models have had some issues.

        Thanks for your time.

If I hadn't already picked up a hydra 240 I'd be on this like white on rice. Someone is gonna get a sweet deal.

                David,

Is this the latest style with internal logging? It looks to be but would be good to confirm.
Do you also have the 6mm motor connectors that came with the controller?

                Thx

Yes it is the latest version.
                  Internal data logging

I have the 6mm connectors soldered used in another ESC/motor.

I can supply 6mm connectors not solderd. (for origional asking price)
They are ones from offshore. Not schulze ones, but i have not had any issues and have pulled enough amps to have thermaled a 40/160, and i was using the 6mm plugs that i got from Steve.

I actually prefrer the ones from offshore.
The schulze ones have a spring style round the plug which forms the fit. It not careful they come off.

I'll try get some pics loaded when i get home from work showing the difference. Its going to be a late one at work so excuse me if i forget.

                  Dave

                    Thanks Dave,
No worries about the connectors. I am familiar with both styles, but prefer the Schulzes actually. They are the only consistent connector I have found. I will sleep on it, but extra pics would be persuasive.

                      Some more pics

And i had a good look for some more 6mm plugs.
I dont have any male ones.
Ive got heaps of female schulze and others but no male of any.

Just for those who want to know

                        dimensions

                        120mm x 65mm 20mm thick at CAPS
And the length is measured from the end of the water cooling tubes
