    FS: Neu 1515/1D

For sale is a like new Neu 1515/1D 4100kv with a 5mm shaft and Castle 6.5mm male bullet.

I bought this motor from OSE a couple weeks back with the intention of using it in a top speed 1/8 scale on road car. Well dilemma overcame the shipping process for the car and I got a refund instead of a car to put this motor in.
I did solder Castle 6.5mm male bullets on the leads. I did grind a light flat spot on the motor shaft(5mm). I connected it to a Mamba Monster esc in my Slash 4x4 and gave this motor a quick test drive in the Slash 4x4(2 minutes maximum). The motor has sat here since.

This would make a killer 2s motor in a smaller hull or a 2s motor in a Short Course truck. Or make it come alive on 3s or 4s in a top speed vehicle.

I'm asking $195 shipped for this motor, no insurance unless paying extra.

    Paypal and Money Orders accepted.

Only trade would be for cash + 1.10th VXL system

Feel free to make offers as well. Would like to get rid of this motor.

What would be a good hull for this motor on 2s? Do you guys think a Delta Force 22" Hydro do well on this motor on 2s?

That rigger looks nice but too much complication for me...

              whats about a DF26 mono?

I ran one (the 3500 VXL motor) in my 22" no step 1, ran good on 2S, ran great on 3S, but 4S killed the motor.... guess I didn't heed the math. demag'd the motor and nuked my hydra 120. and that was on an X435 prop... I guess it comes back to the age-old question: what are your goals? SAW? or sport, or racing. I guess it could make an ok N2 motor... My advice - don't do 4S - unless you run 2 short passes then stop.

Sport running, playing around. Would be on 2s 5000mah in parallel.

you might be able to run up to a 40mm - but have big ESC, at least 120-150 you'll need it.

I set a NAMBA SAW record with mine - N-2 Offshore in a 30" cat (before the stupid length limits kicked in). Used a Hydra240 and a v940/3 IIRC. One pass was almost 60 but the backup run stunk for an average of almost 52. Then the wind came up and no more runs that year. I think Buaas used the same motor to up the record to over 62 in March.

In a sport boat this is a lot of motor. A 22" boat would be virtually undriveable at the speeds this motor is capable of. That 30" cat wasn't the most stable of models through the lights either.....

Jay, you don't need a spare motor?

what do you think of this motor in a DF26 mono on 2s2p?

That hull can take more power for sure, but it will still be a handful and it is not a motor that you will want run for 5 minutes at a time. It will be a fast 2S setup though.
