580 7l on 5s. I am work right now and have access to a bunch of aluminum and sheer and a brake so im going to whip a new mount up.

I was thinking I am gonna go with a 540 9XL on 5s on mine. Just for casual sporting around. It will keep the amps around 90 and a speed around 60. I suppose thats enough for me for sport boating...

What kind of coupler is that?

It's just a generic china coupler that came with the boat. It's a common coupler in square drive boats. It may work on a .130 or .150 flex shaft though. Not 100% sure, im just leaving it on the motor since I have no use for it.
