I stash some in the wardrobe in the hobby room and a couple in the garage, as long as they look relatively similar - ie a cat of roughly the same size, hydro roughly the same size, I just tell her I painted an old boat :PComment

Chuckle. I suspect just about everyone here who is married is doing that. I get the mail when I get home from work and many a box goes quietly to my work shop before it can be intercepted. The parts just blend in with other thousand pieces of stuff in there.Comment

HA HA... my girl just doesn't even go around my hobby room anymore.... In fact the washer/dryer used to be in the basement (my hobby room) and now I renovated the upstairs to accomodate the washer/dryer... she thinks it was just to make it easier on her for washing the clothes.... little does she know she gave me more room for my hobbies and now I don't ever have to worry about her seeing my disease...!Comment

This is cracking me up..... I also stash things in different parts of house. It's important that they are all not seen "together". Sometimes when she isn't home, I reunite them in the basement (almost like a family reunion) and then quickly disperse them again minutes before she's expected home.
The truth is, as long as you "buy used" you can never go wrong. My argument with her is that I can sell liquidate things for relatively the same price if I bought it used in the first place. This is very true for those of us that also have a guitar addiction! I've actually MADE money over the long run trading guitars.Comment
