lol, Just be careful! I need a dremel before I can do the glassing on my elam. I let a friend borrow mine and he's in Iraq now. I got my sponsons nice and flat last night. Took all of 5 minutes with no sanding.

Whatcha doin with a dremel i seen you took ur electric box out whatcha gonna glass on it shes brand new mine got dropped and cracked where the rudder bolts then i hit a log floating and finished it off but it kinda cheesey back there anyway im gonna take some spray foam and put in the sponsons for weight BJ26 told me about that cause i was gonna melt some lead and put in the nose of the cockpit but my girl said what if u put to much u cant get it out.How did u get your sponsons flat with no sanding?

I'm modding the cowl to be flat on the rear for easier taping. I'm also making another whole cowl similar to the UL-1 cowl with no scoop. The reason the sponsons are all tweaked is probably from pulling it from the mold too fast.

If you look down the tunnel you could see the sponson was crooked I just took a heat gun and heated it up and the resin softened up and I pulled in straight and now it's nice and flat when sitting on the table.

I'm still going to square everything up a bit with a sanding block. I just don't want to put ride pads on as a bandaid when I can just fix it the right way.
