Sounds pretty ampy? I was gonna throw a 9xl I had laying around in it with a cheapy Himodel I had sitting on the bench.....I will however throw in the box a second Motor mount for this boat I had bought as I drilled it out to fit a XL or 540 brushless motor.... so you will be good to go to try it and It will be easy to interchange between the two...:)
I think I would try that first on a much smaller prop.... maybe a x442... the 447 is a big prop for a 6xl... do you have a big esc?Comment

120 amp wc and a mamba monster fan cooled. 6xl on 3s or proboat motor on 4s. whats your suggestion. i also am probably going to lay a fg or cf matComment

Of all those setups I would use the proboat motor with the 120amp watercooled esc and run it on 4s and 5s.... a x445 with the 4s and a x442 with a 5s battery... and when you wanna go crazy throw 6s at it.... and as far a laying down carbon or fiberglass I would be careful to keep the boat light... I think these hulls are fairly strong for being abs... seems very sturdy but you can make that judgement when you get it...Comment
