Thats a good combo too.... it would be a great 4s setup..... a little less ooomph then the 9xl but Probably a good setup for this boat.....

what size flex shaft is on this boat so i know size coupler i need to get? also is it fomed in the bow or is that a bulkhead?

It's basically blocked off... Seems like a nice setup in the front of the bow for flotation... Anyhow I think it's a .150 but will check in just a few... It's going out in the mail in just a couple hours... I will check.

Ok.....general rule of thumb is 28%-33% for moderate power setups on a mono.
