I have a huge lot of items for sale. I got into RC boating about two months ago and have not liked it that much--I'd prefer to stick with my E-Revo.
I initially purchased a new Aquacraft SuperVee 27 boat along with an Aquacraft Rio EP as a rescue boat. The SV27 has been tested in a pool and small pond only four times and runs just fine. The Rio EP hasn't even seen water yet.
The SV27 has been outfitted with a Feigao 540 8XL motor that's only been ran four times. On the motor is an OSE water-cooling jacket, made for the extra long XL motors. Along witht the motor, I also installed a Castle Creations Hydra 240 ESC that has also only been ran four times. I also installed a new Castle Creations 10amp BEC to power the Traxxas 2.4Ghz receiver/transmitter. This is the same Tx/Rx that comes with the new Traxxas Slash, which I grew fond of, and put it into the SV27 because of the 2.4Ghz capability.
The SV27 has a small nick on the front as well as the back. I have installed a new port-side turning fin, along with two new transom water pickups (stopped using the rudder pickup) along with an extra water outlet. I upgraded all water-cooling tubing to appliance tubing from the hardware store--better looking and larger diameter. I also installed a new GrimRacer three blade 40x52 metal prop. I sharpened and balanced it the best I could, but could probably be improved. I removed the waterproof black box and custom made a wood platform for the ESC, BEC, Rec, and servo to sit on--it works very well. Lastly, many removable blocks of foam are in the boat, mostly in the front. The cowl has been sprayed with Great Stuff foam.
I got the Rio EP as a rescue boat for the SV27, but it hasn't even seen water yet, not even the bathtub. I took the SV27 motor and ESC and put it into the Rio, since I heard from numerous people that the Rio's stock motor and ESC will fry very quickly. I finished most of the transformation, but haven't tested it yet--it physically works on my work bench, but it hasn't seen the water. It sounds and feels like it has awesome power though. I used silicone on the whole back end so they're shouldn't be any leaks. I also put some Great Stuff foam into the backend for extra flotation. This uses the SV27 motor-cooling jacket and comes stock with the 2.4 Tactic radio.
Also:
Extra SV27 ESC still in package
Stock SV27 Tx/Rx
Stock Rio motor/ESC (haha if anybody wants it)
Two new DTX 4600mah batteries with Deans (only have been used to test Rio on workbench)
I still have all original boxes and instructions for the SV27 and the Rio. I have thrown away most other packaging.
I'm willing to sale altogether, part out, whatever. I do Paypal only and am currently not looking to trade anything. My eBay account is "therealseegaseeg" if you'd like to look up my history.
PM if interested or if you'd like to discuss prices.
