would a turnigy 120 ESC work? Or do i need at least 150? -
Mate it will work, the question you should be asking is will a 120 esc last?? This motor can draw a lot more amps than that and over 2000 watts , I was using with a 240 hydra . A 150 esc would be the very minimumComment

No I had it set up in my circuit rigger turning just over 70mph run time close to 2 min, the thing is it was boring to drive. Toss her in hold throttle flat and turn, a second later turn and so on. The raptor is such a good handling rigger it got boringComment

I ran it in a Raptor rigger made by Brian, approx 10 runs in total. Bearings are as good as new. Just looking to other projects. This would fit in xs2, xs3, Raptor, JAE 21 FE and any others in that size range. Would be ballistic in a 26" cat to I would sayComment

A ABC modded H4, trick x642 and a cut back (40mm) 1742/3 the 1742 was the fastest and the H4 the best behaved and the x642 about the same. Raptor hull stripped and re primered getting twp packed and hung on the wall for now.Comment
