I picked this up from a buddy today in a package deal. It works perfect and was used in a boat 2 times and is 3 month old. I am asking 50.00 obo shipped in the con USA.

The older DX3S can be upgraded, but the 3.0 cannot. The new 3.0 that is Marine-compatible is very different inside from the 3.0 that is not.
Call Customer Service if you're interested in upgrading a old 3S. I think this is the page you'd start from: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Repairs/Request/ If you call the phone number at the bottom of the page they can tell you what any upgrade charge would cost.
Sorry for the earlier confused post. I was thinking 3S, not 3.0.
