As basstronics said, claims can be resolved... I just want him to pay us a little respect and give us a heads up.

This forum rocks and this kind of nonaction ain't the way to treat the forum. I say, if you are going to be offline - do your best to keep communication. I would be surprised if somebody DIDN'T do similar if I were to be silent for so long after accepting the dough.

I did and he at least responded.

I paid on 5/2 and was told it would ship the next day. Its USPS Parcel Post. So it doesnt get priority.

We need to give this man a little time before blowing up on him. I agree the silent treatment sucks, but dude... Its only been a few days...

If I dont have it by next week then I will be singing a different tune.

Sorry, but don't agree. I have been scammed by doing just that. If he is not scamming, then it will resolve itself. BUT if he is, then you know he will clear out his Paypal acct - may have already done so. I have made a few transactions on this forum and have you ever seen me talk this way? Never before and only when I start smelling fish. My new policy is to not tolerate silence beyond a reasonable period and to me a week + is not reasonable.

I think most would consider me a patient one, but also a scammee, so I will proceed on my path to resolution.

I dont know how long you have been waiting...

But all I can say is this...

The guy might be having a hard time, etc. he came here to sell some stuff off. Now he sold some stuff. For whatever reason maybe life got in his way and things didnt go quite as expected. Now since some maybe are jumping the gun calling this guy a scammer, maybe just maybe, he might say the hell with it. Since hes being accused of it and now marked as such, why bother to make it right?

Furthermore I have done some investigating on this guy. He is a firefighter and works for a large department. I bet he does the live on station thing part time. While there he may not have regular access or as much spare time as he does while at home.

Again Im giving the man the benefit of the doubt before casting judgment.

IMHO its way to early for me to flip out and in doing so may make the situation worse.

There was another sale thread by him a few weeks ago (I think) where he stated he was going trough a divorce (I think). Been there, done that......it can mess up even the best of people for a while.

my outboard motor came as I stated above also... he even told me when I bought it that it may take a couple days to get out because he was snooping around his wife....... I know how you feel though Jesse.... I bought a $43 sr3000 off rcgroups and it never came..... was only $43 and I got so upset about it my girl told me to calm down as whe was sick of hearing about it..... she said "you act like someone took away your birthday" LOL .... good luck and I do have a feeling everyone is gonna get there stuff.... its just a hunch..... take care all...

I just wanted to update you all at once.

I decided to file a Pay Pal dispute against boater76

The reason I did this is simple.

I ordered stuff from Steven here at OSE. He utilized the same Pay Pal shipping thing Boater76 did. However when I click on the tracking from Steven it shows the package has been accepted and is on the way. Boater76's link tells me they received notification to expect a package- however my package is not even at the Post Office.

I hope Boater76 does us all right and gets us our items without anymore hassle.

just to let ya know it says that alot of the time... in fact it said that til my package showed up at my local post office..... and then was at home on my doorstep that same day... this does not mean in any way that it hasn't been shipped.... for some reason when alot of people ship stuff is says this... don't know why?? Please don't feel that I'm standing up for this guy in any way... I am only stating what I know... and I know it says this when it has in fact been shipped alot of times... I have anxiety sometimes for others....so pardon me if I keep butting in on these threads... but this gentleman did get my package to me and like I said it had this same message on my tracking info til the day I had the package at home... good luck fellas and I reallllllyyyy hope this works out....
