Check with "meniscus" he offered what you are looking for to another member,tinqueman,but he was later a free!!! outdrive and misc.The thread is right here close to yours!!!,.....already told meniscus you are looking for this.Good luck!!!,...........Albert -
If your using this thinking its a good drive for your cat, dont get one. Do something else. Its not a great design and has its flaws. Get a strut/ rudder combo. Steven has one that works great, its the first set up in the "hardware" section.
I just pulled one of ym BJ26, but Im using it in a twin build rescue boat project. As Al mentioned, Meniscus may have one if your still interested. Shoot him a PM.

Dana,
Welcome to the OSE forum!
These members are correct. If you want a good running hull, I would not recommend this hardware or plasticware for that matter. You are best off spending a few dollars and getting something that will serve your purposes much better.
Here are a few suggestions for hardware found here on OSE (OffShoreElectrics):
Larger Hull => http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80085
Smaller Hull => http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ct-oc6str-130a
Please post what size your hull is, or what size you are planning on building and send me a PM if you are interested in additional options for catamaran hardware. I'll be happy to help you however I can.IMPBA: 7-Time FE World Record Holder "Don't think outside the box. Rather, refuse to admit that the box exists in the first place!"

I think no matter how good a cat hull, any of them will suck w/ the BJ hardware. What hull do you have or did you build?Comment

Think about it this way. If you get the better hardware, you can always put it on something else.
The #1 issue with the hardware you are asking about is that when you start to turn, it can easily cause the cat to flip. Since you are new to the hobby, one of the most frustrating things you could encounter is having to retrieve the boat all the time.
I'll send you a PM.

Dana, I have set it up with the outdrive.... way too unstable. Then I went to conventional flex drive and rudder ---- way super cool better. If you are going 22" then I can send you pics of my set up as it ROCKS (see my fleet just updated). If you go 27" then think inline very nice.
The steerable outdrive also gets very wobbly at moderate to high speeds... cable + rudder =
Be careful with the smaller octura rudders - I had one on there that was way too thin. If you go 22" get the upper left one, much more solid!"Look good doin' it"
