Well, my dad was the lucky winner of this puppy. Anybody have any idea's for the motor? I am not experienced in this large a hydro and would like to get him in the 70's if possible.....

Castle/Neu 2200kv motor on 4S will get that hull into the 60's. Probably need to go up to a 1521 for the 70's.

I would go for Neu 1527 or Lehner 2280 at least, its a big boat, one of my club member ran it with 1527 1y with great result.

around 55mph with 1527 1y, if you need speed then go for 1.5d, 6s2p, you will see 65mph+ with right prop

You are correct about the pricing.....it's a buyers site for sure! They have gotten very greedy on their selling fees......Thanks for the compliment, I will start a build sometime in the near future.......
