You might try fine design, maybe.

Ray, your signature: "Is that a Telefunken U47 or are you just happy to see me?" Now that's funny!

Rewired? I'm not experienced enough myself to do my own custom winding if that's what you mean.

Some Lehners like my 1010 have a set of solder traces on the rear of the can.

These motors are so called 2 in 1 motors because you can dowload a .doc file that shows you how to resolder the rear for a second winding.

My guess with limited experience on Lehners is that one is Delta wind and the other Y wind.

The D/Load also explains how the Rpm changes and gives a formula to calculate the Kv of the second wind.

My motor is a 22 turn, approx. 5400 Kv and can convert to low 3000's kv.

That makes sense. I've heard about folks rewiring, but didn't realize it was done that way.

I'm always learning. I've always paid more attention to the Hackers. I figured I'd try another Lehner since my other works so well.

I didn't really want to sell my motor anyway, its mounted into my 1/8scale Venom rc motorcycle. Haven't taken it out yet with the Lehner in it.

I hope it works well for you! How about a video?

I have a Ricky Carmichael that's loads of fun.
