Dolcevita Custom 1/10 scale Brushless Hydro

I built this as one of our own but now intend to sell it only after 1 outing where I got 47kph = 30mph on gps with a stock SV27 power system, driveline, and prop. This boat includes hardware, I don't remember the brand I used though. The temps after the 8 minute run were 97F on the esc and 108F on the motor. I'm not asking much just to move this setup. The stand alone hull from IMEX is $350 plus all of the extras like hardware, and servo. This was run on one 3S 4500 lipo to get 30 mph 28" L X 14" W
The rest of the build pictures can be seen in my gallery on rumrunner.

    SOLD

This doesn't include motor or esc. This is for the hull, servo, and hardware only.

This was run on one 3S 4500 lipo to get 47 mph

Are you sure you used a 3S lipo to get 47mph as the SV motor usually runs on 4S

Yes I'm positive about 1 3S. This was just a maiden run and the gps didn't lie, I ran it for 2 min checked temp, reset gps, then back out for some fun, the water was a little choppy but it did run 47kph.

Is it possible that it was run actually on 6S?? 3S per side of the ESC???

3S on an SV27 package is only good for about 17-18,000 RPM... With a "stock SV27 prop"... there is no way that package got 47mph on straight up 3S... In fact, I don't believe it got 47mph on 4S, but I could be wrong... what do I know?

            Beautiful boat, however....

Sorry, but you probably didn't reset the GPS from the drive to the pond,,,,47 Mph,,,,,not on
                3S,,,no way.

But, it is a great looking boat.

                  Darin,
I must have had it set on KPH then, but from what I see is a boat that is 2.6 lbs complete running on a light chop. I do trust your knowledge as I have bought and sold you boats in the past. I may have to double check or I got one of those sunday motors.

                  Doby,
I had it reading 92 on the way to the pond are you kidding!!! I could get this hull to 142 if I did it that way... Huh I may try that.

47 Kph really sounds more realistic,,,,,we are not trying to give you a hard time, just trying to make sure the buyer isn't pissed when they put it in the water and it doesn't hit 47 Mph.

It does look sweet though,,,,any shots of the inside,,,I wonder if there's room for 4S??

There is a gallery of the build on rumrunner. Yes I will change that as well... Thanks guys for straightening that out. The hull is completely open inside and could fit 2 X 4S packs if needed, ie. TP 4S 30C 3300's or something of that size.

Jeff, some of the early versions of that manufacturer's boats actually had some cardboard used in the build and the wood veneer tended to come off the hull. Any signs of that in your boat? It sure is beautiful right now...that's for sure.

None that I have seen. I know this one was made the middle of last year since the invoice came into the office, and yes we have a different factory making all of our boats now.

No idea I never tried it. I am accepting the best offer though on this and batteries. I need to fund a new truck to race this weekend.
